Special Needs
Miami Metro Aquatic Club

Miami Metro Aquatic Club has the most successful special needs programs, with complete inclusion competitive swimming programs. These swimmers hold American Records both individually and in relays for swimmers with a disability. We have five boys and 2 girls and are training about 6 more to enter the Team. They are all ages from nine years old to 23 years old. They compete in all Dade County swim meets as well as championships within their disability categories. They have traveled out of Dade County for meets in San Diego, Michigan, and Indianapolis. Two swimmers are competing to qualify to represent the United States Paralympics Team.

The current roster includes: Andrew Miyares, Nicholas Perry, Phillip Chai, Drew MacArthur, Victor Alberte, Stacey Gladieux, and Linda Jones.
